I was on a time limit for this one as it was for my sisters first child.
It was also the first time I'd worked on linen (I really jump into things don't I) Linen (28 count) is one of the hardest fabrics to work on (See Fabrics for more info).
I didn't like the colours used for the name on the original chart so I matched up the two major colours used in the chart and purchased "shiny" floss. This turned out a great look, but this floss is really hard to work with. I had quite a time centering the name and date under the design, but after a few attempts I got it right (It's still a little out but don't tell my sister).
