When I first saw this one in a big haberdashery store I fell in love with it. She is so elegant, it was only after that I learned she was part of a set or Season Queens.
It was the first time that I had ever put beading in a project, but as usually I jumped straight in and have no regrets. I did learn that when doing faces, hands or other intricate things you really need to take your time. If you make a mistake it can really show up. You can usually fudge it with larger areas.
I kept getting two symbols mixed up - a back slash and a forward slash (\ /). Unfortunately the two colours for these symbols where quite different - so there was some "unpicking" in this one. I think you'll agree that the finished product is something quite special though.
